On December 17, 2020, WinnDevelopment began inviting abutters to in-person meetings to discuss the preliminary development proposal and to get feedback and ideas.

On March 23, 2021, the Massachusetts Department of Housing & Community Development issued a letter approving the project's eligibility for financing through the Low Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) program. The full DHCD Project Eligibility Letter (PEL) is provided here. 

On April 4, 2021, the Swampscott Racial Justice Action Group, which is made up of Swampscott residents “trying to make the town a more welcoming and inclusive community,” issued a report about the state of affordable housing in the town.
